Breath & movement · Bristol

A quiet practice, taught slowly

I teach gentle movement and breath work in Bristol — mostly to people who sit too much, sleep badly, or were told once they were 'not flexible' and believed it.

I came to this the long way round. A decade at a desk left me with a back that complained every afternoon. The class that changed things was the slow one — the teacher spent ten minutes on breathing and never asked anyone to do anything impressive.

That is what I teach now. Short practices you come back to, a longer exhale than inhale, shapes taken to the edge of sensation and no further.

Everything I teach in the room ends up written down here, plainly, so you can practise it at home.
